Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup salsa
  • Optional: chopped tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced onion and minced garlic until softened, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, season with taco seasoning, and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Pour in water and stir, allowing the beef mixture to simmer for 5 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
  5. To assemble, place a few spoonfuls of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
  6. Top with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and salsa (and optional toppings, if desired).
  7. Roll up the tortillas and serve immediately.
