- 500 grams chicken thighs
- 12 mini slider buns
- 120 ml honey
- 60 ml hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 120 grams flour
- 2 large eggs
- 120 ml milk
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in seasoned flour.
- Fry chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
- Remove and place on a wire rack to rest.
- Warm honey and hot sauce in a saucepan until combined.
- Toss fried chicken in the honey hot sauce until fully coated.
- Place chicken inside slider buns.
- Drizzle extra sauce if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the pan when frying to maintain crispiness.
- Let the chicken rest before adding sauce to keep coating intact.
- Adjust the level of heat by adding more or less hot sauce.
- Warm the buns slightly before serving for better texture.
