Description

Crispy fried chicken coated in a sweet and spicy honey glaze, served inside soft slider buns for a bold and satisfying bite-sized meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken thighs
  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 120 ml honey
  • 60 ml hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 120 grams flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
  4. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat thoroughly in seasoned flour.
  5. Fry chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked.
  6. Remove and place on a wire rack to rest.
  7. Warm honey and hot sauce in a saucepan until combined.
  8. Toss fried chicken in the honey hot sauce until fully coated.
  9. Place chicken inside slider buns.
  10. Drizzle extra sauce if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan when frying to maintain crispiness.
  • Let the chicken rest before adding sauce to keep coating intact.
  • Adjust the level of heat by adding more or less hot sauce.
  • Warm the buns slightly before serving for better texture.
