Description

Juicy hot dogs grilled on skewers and brushed with a sticky-sweet Sriracha glaze, topped with sesame seeds and cilantro for a spicy, fun twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 3 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk together Sriracha, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and vegetable oil in a bowl.
  3. Lightly oil grill grates or pan to prevent sticking.
  4. Cut hot dogs into 3 pieces each and thread onto skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for 2–3 minutes per side until lightly charred.
  6. Brush with glaze during the last 2 minutes of cooking.
  7. Transfer to platter, sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro, and serve hot.

Notes

  • If using wooden skewers, soak them for 20 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Sriracha.
  • Reserve extra glaze as a dipping sauce for added flavor.
