Description

A bold and comforting dish featuring hot honey garlic chicken, roasted broccoli, and spaghetti tossed in a cheesy fig-balsamic Alfredo sauce. Sweet, spicy, creamy, and savory flavors come together for a meal worth savoring.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/3 cup hot honey
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons fig preserves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix hot honey, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Toss broccoli florets with 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on the baking sheet.
  4. Roast broccoli for 20 minutes until edges are golden. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
  5. In a skillet, sear marinated chicken over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt butter, add cream, balsamic vinegar, and fig preserves. Simmer, then stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until smooth. Toss in spaghetti with a splash of pasta water.
  7. Plate spaghetti, top with sliced chicken, scatter roasted broccoli, and drizzle with extra hot honey. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Reserve pasta water to help Alfredo sauce cling better to the spaghetti.
  • Slice chicken against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  • Do not overcrowd broccoli on the baking sheet for best roasting results.
