Description

This Keto Chaffle Cheeseburger is the ultimate low-carb twist on a classic favorite. Featuring crispy, cheesy chaffles as the bun, it’s a satisfying and flavorful meal that’s keto-friendly and perfect for any time you crave a burger without the carbs.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 2 leaves romaine lettuce
  • Pickles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a waffle maker to medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into the waffle maker and cook for 3–5 minutes until golden and crispy. Repeat for the second chaffle.
  4. Meanwhile, shape the ground beef into a patty and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook the burger patty in a skillet over medium-high heat until desired doneness, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  6. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to the patty and cover to melt.
  7. Assemble the burger by spreading mayonnaise and mustard on one chaffle, then layering lettuce, tomato, the cheeseburger patty, and pickles if using. Top with the second chaffle.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use mozzarella or a cheese blend for the chaffles if you prefer a milder flavor.
  • Chaffles can be made ahead and reheated in a toaster or air fryer.
  • Add bacon or avocado for extra richness and flavor.
