Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and lightly grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth, then add eggs, milk, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing gently.
- Fold in the fresh blueberries carefully.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 35 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before adding glaze if desired, then slice and serve.
