Description

These rich and chewy Maple Blondies are loaded with warm maple flavor and buttery sweetness, making them the perfect dessert for fall or any cozy occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract. Whisk until fully combined.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder until just mixed. Do not overmix.
  5. Fold in pecans or white chocolate chips, if using.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Use real maple syrup for best flavor — avoid pancake syrup.
  • Try drizzling with a maple glaze or dusting with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
  • These blondies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
