Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add mozzarella balls to the marinade and gently toss to coat.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve chilled or at room temperature.
