Description

A creamy, cheesy baked appetizer inspired by Marry Me Chicken, loaded with tender shredded chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, mozzarella, and Parmesan for a bubbly, golden dip that disappears fast.

Ingredients

  • Cooked shredded chicken: 2 cups
  • Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
  • Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
  • Sour cream: 1/2 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded: 1 cup
  • Parmesan cheese, grated: 1/2 cup
  • Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped: 1/2 cup
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Kosher salt: 1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
  • Black pepper, freshly ground: 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tablespoons, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly distributed.
  4. Lightly grease a medium oven-safe baking dish or skillet.
  5. Spread the mixture into the prepared dish in an even layer.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly with light golden spots on top.
  7. Remove from the oven, rest 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve warm with sliced baguette, pita, tortilla chips, or crisp veggies.

Notes

  • For best melting, shred mozzarella from a block.
  • Taste the mixture before baking and adjust seasoning as needed.
  • To make spicier, add extra red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
  • If preparing ahead, assemble and refrigerate up to 24 hours, then bake just before serving.
