Ingredients
- Cooked shredded chicken: 2 cups
- Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
- Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
- Sour cream: 1/2 cup
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded: 1 cup
- Parmesan cheese, grated: 1/2 cup
- Sun-dried tomatoes, chopped: 1/2 cup
- Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes: 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Kosher salt: 1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
- Black pepper, freshly ground: 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tablespoons, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, mozzarella, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fold in the shredded chicken until evenly distributed.
- Lightly grease a medium oven-safe baking dish or skillet.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared dish in an even layer.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until hot and bubbly with light golden spots on top.
- Remove from the oven, rest 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm with sliced baguette, pita, tortilla chips, or crisp veggies.
Notes
- For best melting, shred mozzarella from a block.
- Taste the mixture before baking and adjust seasoning as needed.
- To make spicier, add extra red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
