Description
Marry Me Salmon is a rich and flavorful dish featuring seared salmon fillets in a creamy sun-dried tomato and garlic sauce. It’s inspired by the famous ‘Marry Me Chicken’ and is perfect for date nights, dinner parties, or whenever you want to impress with minimal effort.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear salmon for 4–5 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and broth, stir to combine, and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
- For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
- Can be made with trout or another flaky fish if salmon isn’t available.
