Description

A decadent twist on loaded fries inspired by Philly cheesesteak flavors, featuring seasoned beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted cheese piled over crispy fries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g frozen or fresh French fries
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 250g ground beef or thinly sliced steak strips
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add ground beef or steak strips, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Cook until beef is browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven broiler.
  8. Spread fries on a baking tray, top with beef mixture and shredded cheese.
  9. Broil for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven, drizzle with mayonnaise if using, and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin makes this more authentic.
  • Use provolone cheese for classic Philly flavor.
  • Add pickled jalapeños for extra heat.
  • Best served fresh for crispiness.
