Description
A decadent twist on loaded fries inspired by Philly cheesesteak flavors, featuring seasoned beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted cheese piled over crispy fries.

- 500g frozen or fresh French fries
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 250g ground beef or thinly sliced steak strips
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add ground beef or steak strips, season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook until beef is browned and cooked through, about 6–8 minutes.
- Preheat oven broiler.
- Spread fries on a baking tray, top with beef mixture and shredded cheese.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with mayonnaise if using, and garnish with green onions. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin makes this more authentic.
- Use provolone cheese for classic Philly flavor.
- Add pickled jalapeños for extra heat.
- Best served fresh for crispiness.
