Description

Juicy Mediterranean turkey burgers packed with garlic, herbs, and a hint of lemon, served with fresh vegetables and a creamy yogurt sauce for a light yet satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground turkey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 whole lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, gently combine ground turkey, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly oil the cooking surface to prevent sticking.
  4. Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  5. Cook patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix plain yogurt with fresh lemon juice to create the sauce.
  7. Assemble burgers with buns, lettuce, tomato slices, red onion, turkey patties, and yogurt sauce, then serve warm.
