Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat until hot.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in onions and tomatoes.
- Add beef mixture to skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 7–10 minutes.
- Lay out tortillas. Add a generous spoonful of beef mixture, sprinkle with cheese, add cilantro and a dollop of sour cream. Fold tightly into a wrap.
- Return wraps to skillet seam-side down and press slightly. Cook each side for 2–3 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Let wraps rest for a minute before slicing. Optional: garnish with extra cilantro or a squeeze of lime.
- Serve warm with chips, salsa, or a light salad on the side.
Notes
- Warm tortillas before wrapping to prevent cracking.
- Use a cast-iron skillet for an extra crispy exterior.
- Customize fillings with beans, veggies, or other proteins.
- Store leftovers in foil and reheat on a skillet for best results.
