- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F or heat a skillet over medium heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix just until blended.
- Lightly grease a baking sheet or drizzle olive oil in a skillet.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on the sheet or in the skillet.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or pan-fry for 8–10 minutes, turning to brown all sides.
- Optional: Simmer cooked meatballs in marinara sauce for 5 minutes for added flavor.
- Serve warm with your choice of sides or sauces.
Notes
- Use wet hands when rolling the meatballs to prevent sticking.
- For extra flavor, brown the meatballs in a skillet before finishing in the oven.
- Chill the shaped meatballs for 10 minutes before cooking to help them hold shape.
