Description

Rich, fudgy cake bites infused with peppermint, coated in smooth white chocolate, and sprinkled with golden sugar crystals. These festive treats are perfect for holiday gifting or indulging by the fireplace.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups chocolate cake crumbs
  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted
  • 2 tablespoons golden sugar crystals

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and clear space in your fridge.
  2. In a large bowl, mix chocolate cake crumbs, softened cream cheese, and peppermint extract until fully blended.
  3. Roll tablespoon-sized portions into balls and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt white chocolate chips in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled cake ball into melted white chocolate and return to the tray.
  7. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle with golden sugar crystals.
  8. Let set at room temperature or chill again before serving.

Notes

  • Use gloves while rolling to keep hands clean and smooth the surface.
