Crispy fries topped with spicy nduja-infused ground beef, melted cheese, and flavorful toppings for a bold and satisfying snack or meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500g frozen or fresh French fries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 250g ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons nduja sausage (soft, spicy spreadable salami)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream or Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives (for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon pickled jalapeños or chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions until soft, about 4 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned, breaking apart, about 6–8 minutes.
  5. Stir in nduja, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes until combined.
  6. Preheat oven broiler.
  7. Spread fries on a baking tray, top with beef mixture and cheese.
  8. Broil 2–3 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
  9. Remove, top with sour cream, green onions, jalapeños if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for beef.
  • Drizzle garlic mayo or spicy ketchup for extra flavor.
  • Adjust nduja amount for spice level.
  • Best served immediately for crispiness.
