- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
Instructions
- Line a tray or counter with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Mix well until combined.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and let it boil for exactly 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Quickly stir in the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in the rolled oats until fully coated.
- Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop portions of the mixture onto the parchment paper.
- Let the cookies cool and set at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Once firm, serve and enjoy or store for later.
