- 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed
- 1/2 cup Nutella spread
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay out both sheets of puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread Nutella evenly over one sheet, then place the second sheet directly on top.
- Prepare a parchment-lined baking sheet and keep it nearby for easy transfer.
- Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice the stacked pastry into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip and place it on the baking sheet.
- Brush each twist with the beaten egg yolk and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let them cool slightly. Optionally dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with your favorite beverage.
Notes
- Warm Nutella slightly before spreading for easier handling.
- Do not overfill with Nutella to avoid leaking during baking.
