Description
One Pan Creamy Boursin Chicken is a rich, flavorful dish where tender chicken breasts are simmered in a creamy, herb-infused Boursin cheese sauce—perfect for an easy yet elegant dinner made all in one skillet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs recommended)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Add Boursin cheese and stir until melted into the broth.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
- Try adding sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
- Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for more flavor and juiciness.
- This dish can be made ahead and reheated gently over low heat.
