Description

One Pan Creamy Boursin Chicken is a rich, flavorful dish where tender chicken breasts are simmered in a creamy, herb-infused Boursin cheese sauce—perfect for an easy yet elegant dinner made all in one skillet.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs recommended)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Add Boursin cheese and stir until melted into the broth.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
  • Try adding sautéed spinach or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for more flavor and juiciness.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated gently over low heat.
