Description
A frothy, nostalgic citrus drink made with orange juice concentrate, milk, vanilla, and ice, blended until silky and refreshing. Perfect for a sunny pick-me-up or a light dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup milk (use dairy or plant-based)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare your blender by ensuring it is clean and the lid is secure.
- Place the orange juice concentrate, cold water, milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract into the blender.
- Add 1 cup of ice to start, then secure the lid and pulse briefly to combine.
- Blend on high for 30 to 60 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth and very frothy. Add more ice if you want a thicker, slushier texture and blend again.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding a little more sugar and blending briefly.
- Pour into chilled glasses, garnish if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Chill glasses beforehand for an extra-refreshing drink.
- Use plant-based milk like almond or oat to make it dairy-free.
- For thicker texture, add a frozen banana or extra ice.
- If using fresh orange juice, increase sweetness slightly to match concentrate intensity.
