Description

Mini sandwiches featuring crispy pan-fried chicken tucked inside soft, buttery biscuits — perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a crowd-pleasing snack.

  • 8 small biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 8 small pieces
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Optional toppings: honey, hot sauce, pickles

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let soak for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge).
  2. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Dredge chicken pieces in the seasoned flour, coating well.
  5. Pan-fry chicken pieces for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F or 74°C).
  6. Drain on paper towels.
  7. Slice biscuits in half and assemble sliders with chicken and optional toppings like honey, hot sauce, or pickles.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
  • These sliders are great served warm with a drizzle of honey or a smear of spicy mayo.
