Description

A light and flavorful Mediterranean pasta tossed with tuna, olives, capers, and fresh herbs in a silky olive oil sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Prepare the cherry tomatoes, olives, garlic, and parsley.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes, olives, capers, and tuna to the skillet and gently combine.
  5. Cook spaghetti until al dente, reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  6. Add pasta to the skillet and toss, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  7. Stir in fresh parsley, season with salt and black pepper, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use high-quality olive oil for the best flavor.
  • Do not overcook the pasta to keep the texture perfect.
  • Adjust salt carefully since olives and capers are naturally salty.
