Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ball pizza dough (about 250 grams)
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C.
- Lightly oil the dough and let it rest at room temperature.
- Grease a baking pan with olive oil.
- Roll out the dough and place it in the pan. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
- Add shredded mozzarella cheese, then arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
- Sprinkle dried oregano and salt evenly.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle a little olive oil on top.
- Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
Notes
- Use room temperature dough for easier shaping.
- Avoid adding too much sauce to keep the crust crisp.
- Freshly shredded cheese melts better than pre-packaged.
- Let the pie rest before slicing for clean cuts.
