Description
Pepperoni Pizza Tacos combine all the cheesy, saucy goodness of a classic pepperoni pizza with the handheld convenience of a taco — a fun and family-friendly twist on pizza night.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing tortillas)
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly brush both sides of tortillas with olive oil and fold them in half like taco shells. Place them standing up on the baking sheet using balled foil or a taco rack to help them hold shape.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until slightly crisp.
- Remove from oven and gently open each shell. Spoon pizza sauce into each taco, then top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, if using.
- Return tacos to oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly and edges are golden.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil or parsley. Serve hot.
Notes
- Customize with your favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers.
- For extra crispy tacos, bake the shells a bit longer before filling.
- Serve with a side of marinara or ranch for dipping.
