Description

A delicious and hearty dish featuring crispy fries topped with savory Philly steak, melted cheese, and flavorful seasonings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  3. While the fries are baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
  5. Add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through.
  6. Season the steak and vegetable mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  7. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and top with the steak and vegetable mixture.
  8. Sprinkle shredded provolone and cheddar cheese over the top and return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use frozen fries for convenience, or make homemade fries for a fresher taste.
  • Feel free to swap provolone cheese for other melting cheeses like mozzarella or American cheese.
  • For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños on top before baking.
