- 2 large russet potatoes, cut into fries
- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Spread the fries on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- While the fries are baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked through.
- Season the steak and vegetable mixture with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and top with the steak and vegetable mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded provolone and cheddar cheese over the top and return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can use frozen fries for convenience, or make homemade fries for a fresher taste.
- Feel free to swap provolone cheese for other melting cheeses like mozzarella or American cheese.
- For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños on top before baking.
