- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks, melted
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, melt the chocolate and butter together. Whisk in the sugar, then the eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla and flour until just combined.
- Pour 3/4 of the brownie batter into the lined pan and smooth it out.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and chopped pistachios until creamy. Dollop spoonfuls over the brownie batter and top with remaining brownie batter. Use a knife or skewer to swirl gently.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the center is just set and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool completely in the pan for best slicing. You can refrigerate for extra clean edges.
- Cut into squares, sprinkle with extra pistachios if desired, and serve!

- Use room temperature cream cheese for a smoother swirl.
- Chill before slicing for clean, neat squares.
- To toast pistachios, bake at 350°F for 5–7 minutes.
