A Pizza Burger combines the juicy beefiness of a burger with the saucy, cheesy goodness of pizza. It’s a flavorful, indulgent twist that’s perfect for satisfying two cravings in one.

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 16 slices of pepperoni (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for toasting buns)
Instructions
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into 4 equal patties.
- Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the buns with olive oil or butter until golden.
- In the last minute of cooking, top each patty with 1–2 tbsp pizza sauce, 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, and 4 slices of pepperoni.
- Cover the pan or close the grill to melt the cheese.
- Sprinkle with oregano and place each patty on a toasted bun.
- Serve hot with extra pizza sauce if desired.
Notes
- Use turkey or plant-based patties for a lighter or vegetarian version.
- Add sautéed mushrooms, onions, or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Try garlic butter on the buns for more of a pizzeria feel.
