Poke Nachos with Spicy Tuna are a vibrant fusion dish that combines crispy wonton chips with flavorful spicy tuna, creamy sauces, and fresh toppings for the ultimate appetizer or light meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sushi-grade tuna, diced
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (preferably Kewpie)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers, cut into triangles
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 avocado, diced
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Drizzle of spicy mayo or sriracha (optional)
  • Optional: microgreens, seaweed salad, pickled ginger for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan and fry wonton triangles until golden and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, combine diced tuna with sriracha, mayo, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Mix well and chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Arrange the wonton chips on a serving platter.
  4. Spoon the spicy tuna mixture evenly over the chips.
  5. Top with diced avocado, cucumber, green onions, and sesame seeds.
  6. Drizzle with extra spicy mayo or sriracha if desired, and garnish with microgreens or seaweed salad.
  7. Serve immediately while the chips are still crisp.

Notes

  • Use sashimi-grade tuna to ensure safety and quality.
  • Air-fry the wonton chips for a lighter version.
  • Customize toppings with mango, jalapeño, or radish slices for extra flavor and crunch.
