Description
Praline Crunch is a sweet and crunchy snack mix made with crispy cereal, pecans, and a buttery brown sugar glaze. It’s perfect for parties, holidays, or edible gifts.

- 8 cups Crispix cereal (or Rice Chex/Corn Chex mix)
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Grease or line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the cereal and pecans.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add brown sugar and corn syrup to the butter and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. The mixture will bubble up.
- Quickly pour the mixture over the cereal and pecans, stirring to coat evenly.
- Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- For extra flavor, toast the pecans before adding to the mix.
- You can use other nuts like almonds or walnuts.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
