- 6 sandwich buns
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup beef broth

- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper on all sides.
- Add olive oil to the pot and sear the beef until browned on all sides.
- Add sliced onion, minced garlic, barbecue sauce, and beef broth around the beef.
- Cover and cook on low heat for about 3 hours until the beef is tender and easy to shred.
- Remove the beef and shred it using forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the sauce and mix well.
- Fill toasted sandwich buns with the pulled beef and serve warm.
