Description

A rich and juicy pulled beef sandwich made with slow-cooked shredded beef, coated in a flavorful sauce and served in soft toasted buns for the ultimate comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg beef chuck roast
  • 6 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
  2. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper on all sides.
  3. Add olive oil to the pot and sear the beef until browned on all sides.
  4. Add sliced onion, minced garlic, barbecue sauce, and beef broth around the beef.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat for about 3 hours until the beef is tender and easy to shred.
  6. Remove the beef and shred it using forks.
  7. Return the shredded beef to the sauce and mix well.
  8. Fill toasted sandwich buns with the pulled beef and serve warm.
