Description
A rich and fluffy frosting made with Cool Whip, peanut butter, chocolate pudding, and crushed Reese’s, perfect for cakes, cupcakes, or as a dip.
Ingredients

- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until it thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.
- Add peanut butter and vanilla extract, and whisk until smooth and fully combined.
- Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Stir in crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using to allow it to firm up.
- Use as a frosting for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, or as a dessert dip. Top with additional crushed Reese’s if desired.
Notes
- Make sure the Cool Whip is fully thawed for easier mixing.
- You can substitute chocolate pudding with vanilla or peanut butter flavored pudding for variations.
- This frosting holds up best when chilled.
