Description

This elegant appetizer combines the sweet richness of roasted grapes, the creamy indulgence of burrata, and the herby aroma of fresh thyme, all drizzled with a tangy balsamic glaze on top of crispy crostini. Perfect for entertaining or a sophisticated snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups seedless red grapes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss grapes with olive oil, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper. Spread on the baking sheet.
  3. Roast grapes for 20–25 minutes, or until they begin to burst and caramelize. Set aside to cool slightly.
  4. While grapes roast, brush baguette slices with olive oil and toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  5. Once toasted, top each crostini with a generous spoon of burrata.
  6. Add a few roasted grapes on top of the cheese, then drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  7. Garnish with additional thyme leaves and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can prepare the roasted grapes ahead and store them in the fridge, then reheat slightly before serving.
  • Try using rosemary or basil for a different herbal twist.
  • Great with a glass of white wine or Prosecco.
