Description
A delicious copycat of Ruby Tuesday’s famous pasta salad, featuring rotini pasta, ham, peas, and a creamy ranch-style dressing. It’s a perfect side dish for picnics, potlucks, or summer meals.

- 3 cups rotini pasta (uncooked)
- 1 cup diced ham
- 1 cup frozen peas (thawed)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water, then set aside to cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ranch dressing, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
- Add the cooked pasta, diced ham, thawed peas, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl.
- Toss everything together until well coated with the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
Notes
- You can substitute turkey or chicken for ham if preferred.
- Add a pinch of dill or chopped fresh herbs for extra flavor.
- This salad tastes even better the next day after chilling overnight.
