Description

Crispy waffle fries tossed with golden toast crumbs, seasoned with salt and cracked black pepper. A satisfying snack with bold flavors and irresistible crunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag (about 500g) waffle fries
  • 2 slices of bread, toasted until golden and crisp
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1½ teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  3. Spread fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with the oil mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Toast bread until deeply golden. Let cool, then crumble into coarse bits.
  5. Bake or air fry the fries for 20–25 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
  6. As soon as fries are done, sprinkle with toasted crumbs and parsley.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Use day-old bread for better texture.
  • Cracked black pepper adds bold flavor and texture.
  • Air fryer gives an even crisper result.
