Description

A tender oven-baked pork tenderloin coated in a rich and creamy Dijon sauce, perfectly balanced with herbs and garlic for a comforting and elegant meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Dijon mustard, heavy cream, minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until golden brown.
  5. Pour the prepared sauce over the pork.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let the pork rest for 5 minutes.
  8. Slice and serve with the creamy Dijon sauce spooned over the top.

Notes

  • Let the pork rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
  • Use a meat thermometer for best accuracy.
  • Add a splash of cream when reheating to maintain sauce texture.
