Description

Sesame Crackers are crispy, crunchy snacks made from a simple dough of sesame seeds, flour, and olive oil, perfect for dipping or enjoying on their own.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sesame seeds, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Gradually add olive oil and water, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  5. Cut into desired shapes (squares, rectangles, or use a cookie cutter).
  6. Place the crackers on the prepared baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can sprinkle the crackers with sea salt or garlic powder before baking.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep crispy.
  • These crackers pair wonderfully with cheese or hummus.
