- 1 (16-ounce) can refried beans
- 1 (1-ounce) packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa (drained slightly if watery)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the refried beans with the taco seasoning until well combined.
- Spread the seasoned refried beans in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish or a large shallow serving platter.
- Carefully layer the guacamole evenly over the beans.
- Spread the sour cream over the guacamole.
- Top with a layer of salsa, distributing it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa layer.
- Add a layer of chopped tomatoes, followed by black olives and green onions.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the layers to set.
- Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
- Drain the salsa if it’s too watery to prevent the dip from becoming soggy.
- You can prepare the dip up to 6 hours in advance and refrigerate until serving.
