Description

A light and flavorful sautéed spinach dish infused with soy sauce, fresh ginger, and scallions. Perfect as a quick side dish for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups baby spinach, washed and dried
  • 2 tbsp sesame or vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in scallions and cook for another minute.
  4. Add baby spinach and toss until just wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if desired before serving.

Notes

  • Serve immediately to keep the spinach vibrant and fresh.
  • Adjust soy sauce to taste or use low-sodium soy sauce for a lighter dish.
  • Great served alongside rice or grilled proteins.
