Juicy Spanish meatballs simmered in a rich tomato sauce, packed with comforting flavors and perfect for a cozy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 400 g crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  3. Lightly oil the skillet to prevent sticking.
  4. Shape the mixture into small, even meatballs.
  5. Brown the meatballs on all sides, then add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and paprika. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir gently and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve warm with bread or your favorite side.

Notes

  • Do not overmix the meat to keep the texture tender.
  • Browning the meatballs adds extra flavor to the dish.
  • Simmer gently to allow flavors to develop fully.
