Description
A quick and flavorful broccoli stir-fry tossed in a spicy chili garlic sauce. Perfect as a side dish or served over rice for a light, satisfying meal.

- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thicker sauce)
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, rice vinegar, honey, water, and cornstarch (if using). Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
- Pour in the sauce mixture and toss to coat. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the sauce has thickened.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a heartier meal, add tofu, shrimp, or chicken.
- Adjust the chili garlic sauce to your preferred spice level.
- Serve over steamed rice or noodles for a complete dish.
