Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz noodles (ramen, lo mein, or spaghetti)
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, and lime juice (if using). Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sesame oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the cooked noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
- Return the shrimp to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and crushed red pepper flakes. Serve hot.
Notes
- Use frozen shrimp to save prep time—just thaw before cooking.
- Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing sriracha and chili flakes.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for extra crunch and color.
