Description

Spicy Garlic Shrimp Noodles are a bold, flavorful dish featuring juicy shrimp, tender noodles, and a fiery garlic-chili sauce. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s the perfect weeknight meal for spice lovers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz noodles (ramen, lo mein, or spaghetti)
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sriracha, brown sugar, and lime juice (if using). Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sesame oil and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the cooked noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Return the shrimp to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and crushed red pepper flakes. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use frozen shrimp to save prep time—just thaw before cooking.
  • Adjust spice level by increasing or reducing sriracha and chili flakes.
  • Add vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas for extra crunch and color.
