Description

Flaky, golden puff pastry pinwheels filled with creamy spinach and tangy feta, perfect as an easy appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix chopped spinach, feta cheese, cream cheese, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the puff pastry into a rectangle.
  4. Spread the filling evenly over the pastry, then roll it tightly into a log.
  5. Slice the log into even rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Make sure to squeeze excess moisture from the spinach to prevent soggy pastry.
  • Chill the rolled pastry for 10 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
