Description

A warm, cheesy, irresistible spinach and artichoke dip baked until bubbly and golden, perfect for parties, game days, or cozy gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and well-drained
  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts, canned and chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat together 8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, and 1/2 cup mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Fold in 10 ounces thawed and well-drained spinach, 14 ounces chopped artichoke hearts, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, and 1/2 cup grated Parmesan until evenly combined.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Lightly grease an oven-safe baking dish to prevent sticking.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Spoon the spinach and artichoke mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the dip is bubbly and the edges are golden.
  6. Finishing Touches: If desired, sprinkle additional Parmesan on top and bake 2 to 3 more minutes for a golden crust. Remove from oven and let rest briefly.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot with tortilla chips, toasted baguette slices, pita wedges, or crisp vegetables and enjoy.

Notes

  • Drain and squeeze excess liquid from spinach thoroughly to avoid a watery dip.
  • Use freshly grated cheeses for the best melt and texture.
  • Assemble ahead and refrigerate, then bake just before serving for easy entertaining.
  • To reheat leftovers, warm in the oven until bubbly or microwave in short intervals, stirring between heats.
