Description

A quick and flavorful steak fried rice packed with tender beef, fluffy rice, and savory seasoning, perfect for an easy homemade meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked white rice
  • 300 grams steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat.
  2. Prepare all ingredients and beat the eggs in a bowl.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the steak until browned and just cooked through, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add remaining oil, sauté garlic, carrots, and peas until slightly tender, then push to one side and scramble the eggs.
  5. Add the cooked rice and mix everything well.
  6. Return the steak to the pan and pour in soy sauce, stirring until evenly combined.
  7. Add chopped green onions, mix well, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use day-old rice for the best texture
  • Cook on high heat for authentic flavor
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to ensure even cooking
