Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam or preserves
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle.
- Add about 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry jam on top of the cream cheese.
- Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip to form crescents.
- Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, if desired. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can use other fruit jams like raspberry or blueberry for variety.
- For extra crispiness, brush the tops with a little melted butter before baking.
- Refrigerate leftovers and reheat in the oven for best texture.
