- 1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin powder
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 36 Hershey’s Kisses chocolates
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and gelatin powder until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes, until edges are set but centers are still soft.
- Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie while still warm.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool before serving.
Notes
- Chill the dough for 20 minutes to make rolling easier.
- Unwrap all kisses before baking to save time.
- Roll dough balls in sugar before baking for extra sparkle.
- Store with a slice of bread in the container to keep cookies soft.
