Description

A layered dessert that brings all the cozy comfort of sweet potato pie in a fun, no-bake trifle form with creamy filling, buttery graham crumbs, and fluffy whipped cream.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes (cooked and peeled)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for 10 minutes before whipping the cream.
  2. In a bowl, beat together sweet potatoes, cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  4. Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl.
  5. Layer the trifle in cups or a dish: sweet potato filling, graham cracker crumble, and whipped cream.
  6. Repeat layers if needed and chill for at least 1 hour.
  7. Top with extra crumble or a dusting of cinnamon before serving.
