- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
Instructions
- Chill your mixing bowl and beaters for 10 minutes before whipping the cream.
- In a bowl, beat together sweet potatoes, cream cheese, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter in a separate bowl.
- Layer the trifle in cups or a dish: sweet potato filling, graham cracker crumble, and whipped cream.
- Repeat layers if needed and chill for at least 1 hour.
- Top with extra crumble or a dusting of cinnamon before serving.
Notes
- Use canned sweet potatoes if short on time, but avoid syrup-packed ones.
- Add maple syrup or pecans for an extra flavor boost.
