- 1 kg ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and half of the ketchup.
- Lightly grease a loaf pan or prepare a baking sheet.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it into the pan or onto the sheet.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes until fully cooked through.
- Spread the remaining ketchup on top and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Do not overmix the meat to keep it tender.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing to hold its shape.
- You can substitute breadcrumbs with oats or crushed crackers.
