Description

Soft, golden swirls filled with melty vegan cheese, zesty pizza sauce, and vibrant veggies—these Vegan Pizza Rolls are the ultimate plant-based snack or party treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 cup Vegan Mozzarella Shreds
  • ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, diced
  • ¼ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • A few leaves Fresh Basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5–10 minutes. Stir in olive oil, salt, and gradually add flour to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread pizza sauce evenly and layer with vegan cheese, bell pepper, onion, oregano, and basil. Roll tightly from one long side.
  5. Slice into 12 equal rolls and place cut-side up on the baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For easier slicing, chill the rolled dough for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Add crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
  • Reheat in oven or air fryer to retain crispness.
