- 2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Warm Water
- 2 ¼ teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- ½ cup Pizza Sauce
- 1 cup Vegan Mozzarella Shreds
- ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, diced
- ¼ cup Red Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- A few leaves Fresh Basil, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until foamy, about 5–10 minutes. Stir in olive oil, salt, and gradually add flour to form a soft dough. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread pizza sauce evenly and layer with vegan cheese, bell pepper, onion, oregano, and basil. Roll tightly from one long side.
- Slice into 12 equal rolls and place cut-side up on the baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For easier slicing, chill the rolled dough for 10 minutes before cutting.
- Add crushed red pepper for a spicy kick.
- Reheat in oven or air fryer to retain crispness.
