- 500 grams gnocchi
- 2 balls burrata cheese (about 200 grams)
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a gentle boil.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Lightly mash some of the tomatoes to create a thicker sauce, then season with salt and black pepper.
- Cook the gnocchi in boiling water until they float, then transfer them directly into the sauce.
- Toss gently to coat the gnocchi in the sauce and let everything simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Tear the burrata over the top and sprinkle fresh basil leaves.
- Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.
